"MAY THE SPACE BETWEEN WHERE I AM AND WHERE I WANT TO BE INSPIRE ME."
- Tracee Ellis Ross
Just a little inspiration as we prepare for the new year and start thinking about new year's resolutions. Even if you don't "believe" in new year's resolutions, you probably still think about the things you want to do and achieve in the coming year. The new year just gives us a chance to reflect on who we are right now and think about who we want to become.
I like to set new year's resolutions for myself because it gives me something to work towards, and I like the feeling of achieving my goals. Personally, I like to keep my new year's resolutions to myself because they're only meant for me. If I tell and show others, it's like I have to prove to them that I can follow through. While I set specific resolutions, my ultimate goal is to simply be a better version of me - to stay true to myself and the things that matter to me, continue to grow as a human being through my life experience's, and to always be kind.
